Jude 1:24

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy…” (NASB)

STRONGS HEBREW/GREEK ORIGINS

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling (aptaistos: keep from falling; standing firm; exempt from falling), and to make you stand (histemi: establish, place, put, set) in the presence of His glory blameless (amomos: without rebuke, without blame or spot, faultless) with great joy (agalliasis: exceeding joy, exultation, extreme gladness)…”

SUMMARY

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and falling, and to establish you in the presence of His glory, without blame or faults, with exceeding joy and gladness.

MEDITATION

This verse, although just part of a longer statement, is a mouthful. The LORD enables you to stand firm and not fall. He also sets you in place in His presence without any spot or blemish. As if that were not enough, He places you there with immeasurable joy and gladness. Do you live and breathe with this as a reality? Do you consistently walk as one who has been given so much? Today, dare to believe that the Word is true! Open your spiritual eyes and see all that the LORD has done… for you!
