STRONGS HEBREW/GREEK ORIGINS

“For we cannot stop speaking (laleo: saying, telling, talking, preaching, uttering) about what we have seen (eido: known, beheld, look, perceive, notice, discern, discover, observe) and heard (akouo: hearken, give audience).”

SUMMARY

For we cannot stop telling about what we have personally beheld and heard.

MEDITATION

What do you speak of most often? What is found upon your lips more than anything else? Is it your family, your job, your worldly reputation? Here we see Peter and John state clearly, “we cannot stop talking about the amazing things that God has done for us!” Today, deliberately speak on His awesome deeds – awesome deeds that He has done on your behalf!
