SUMMARY
Many more put their trust and confidence in Jesus because of the words that He uttered and the account that He gave.
MEDITATION
I know this is as simple as we can get, but there is great truth within this small verse. Just as in the days when Jesus, walked upon this earth in bodily form, His Word brings life. Since we know that He is the Word, the Word has never changed. Therefore, the Word on our lips will cause “many more to believe”. I challenge you this morning – how many people have believed because of the Word that proceeds from your mouth? Now I’m not sending you on a mission to evangelize the world, but who we are should be exhibiting the Word to those around us. Take a few minutes and look into this today – what account is your living voice giving?

MEDITATION
I’ll be the first to admit that it’s often easy to look at the circumstances that are all around me. Thankfully, I came along before they diagnosed kids with ADD because my eyes, when not submitted to the LORD, run all about - seemingly on their own mission. But may it not be so as we now walk according to the Spirit. Distractions only turn us to the right and to the left – getting us off track (as verse 27 addresses). Today, be intent on keeping your gaze upon the LORD. Allow nothing to capture your attention but Him.

You know, it is so odd to me how we complicate the Word so. This is such a simple metaphor that should be so easily taken as literal. In the natural, when you need something, you simply ask. Two things are necessary for the actions in this verse to work.
#1: You must see your need. #2: You must take action for your need to be met (ASK).
#1: You must see that you are lacking. #2: You must take action to find what you lack (SEEK).
#1: You are outside and need what it is inside #2: You must take action and make your presence known (KNOCK).
You see, your action causes His action. God will not make you do anything – it is His desire for you to willingly take the necessary action to seek Him for all that you are in need of. I believe this is why intimacy is so vital in our relationship with the Father. Today, don’t just ask “why’s” or just wonder - ask, seek, knock… He promises to give what you need, reveal what you’re looking for and open the door in which you need to walk through.

We’ve been led to believe that we’re enduring some great tribulation and harassment if someone laughs at us for carrying a Bible. My friends, we must raise the bar. Our entire lives must be representative of a “Spirit walk” lifestyle. When we walk according to the Spirit, we will not look like every day, ordinary Christians. Today, resolve to walk as Jesus did upon the earth – willing to endure whatever persecution that may follow.

It is time that the world sees a Believer whose hope and love for the LORD is not dependent on their circumstances, but soley rooted and established in declaring His greatness at all times!

We no longer have to go through steps and rituals, He has made a way in order for us all to continually be in relationship with Him. Today, begin to throw out your “have to’s” and limitations and, moment by moment, live a life that is overrun with praise!

The one who does not flee or turn back to the uttermost end, he will be made whole and complete and rescued from destruction.

I believe that this verse could be interpreted several ways. But with that in mind, one thing is for certain - it is imperative to know what kingdom you are living for. Do you know that Jesus always referred to a kingdom not seen with physical eyes – a kingdom that is here and now? I challenge you this morning to seek the LORD for unveiled eyes. His Kingdom will never be beheld with carnal vision that is rooted in the flesh. Today, rise above your earthly mindset and live for a Kingdom where Christ is King and all boundaries and limitations no longer hold you down.

For some reason, many people have a hard time when approaching the topic of healing. It’s somehow been deemed as “not for today” because others have abused and perverted it throughout the years. However, when looking at the text alone, we see that “well” is the same word used to describe salvation (sozo). It is wholeness, wellness, completeness. You see, healing is a byproduct of God’s much greater plan. That is why we see, with this woman, that Jesus said “your faith has saved you” – when she was made whole, she was healed. Some will be, as this, instantaneously seen – others may be a process, but we must have the faith in what we do not yet see. Today, believe God for something you don’t see any results for or perhaps don’t even yet have even any feelings for. He has made you whole.

Thus, on the first Yom Kippur (approximately 3,500 years ago), the Israelites succeeded to atone for their sins and renegotiate their covenant with God. At the time of the Temple, the high priest performed a ritual of atonement for all the children of Israel on Yom Kippur, today. It was the only time that the high priest entered the Temple's Holy of Holies (Leviticus 16). Today, I encourage you to grasp the significance of this date. Through Christ, we can now enter the Holy of Holies and intimately know our Creator each and ever day.

If anyone has a right to be vengeful, it is God for most of His prize Creation chooses to go their own way every moment of every day. Will you live a life pleasing to Him alone today?

Despite how awesome it would be to experience manna from heaven, I must see that we’ve been given something, Someone, so much greater! While the manna that God sent down to His people was necessary and effective, it only sustained their flesh. When the Christ came in the form of Jesus, the food from heaven that would supply you and I with eternal life came down. Today, thank Him for the food – the food that has brought true life… forever.

Despite how awesome it would be to experience manna from heaven, I must see that we’ve been given something, Someone, so much greater! While the manna that God sent down to His people was necessary and effective, it only sustained their flesh. When the Christ came in the form of Jesus, the food from heaven that would supply you and I with eternal life came down. Today, thank Him for the food – the food that has brought true life… forever.

Isaiah 40:29
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” (NASB)

“He gives (nathan: deliver, grant, yield, bring, cause, utter, send, appoint, bestow, permit, ascribe, devote, extends) strength (koach or kowach: power, might, force, ability) to the weary (ya`eph: faint, fatigued) and increases the power of the weak ('own: lacking strength, might and vigor).”
SUMMARY
God ascribes and sends power and might to the weary and fatigued ones and increases the strength of those lacking in might and vigor.
MEDITATION
Do you ever feel weary and weak? Do you ever feel that you’re lacking in strength and vigor? Yes? Well great! You’re a perfect candidate for God to bestow His power and strength upon. When you’re up, run to Him. When you’re down, run to Him. When you’re strong, run in Him. When you’re weak, run to Him. Get the point?

“No man can by any means redeem his brother, or give to God a ransom for him.” (NASB)

“No man can by any means redeem (padah: deliver, ransom, rescue) his brother ('ach: brethren, another, kindred, kinship, same tribe), or give to God a ransom (kopher: satisfaction, bribe, sum of money, price of a life) for him.”
SUMMARY
No man can, by any means, rescue and deliver another, or give to God anything to purchase him.
MEDITATION
In my life, I’ve heard people go as far as saying, “I’d give my own life for them to know the Lord”. The fact is though, you cannot. Jesus Christ alone gave up Himself for all of mankind. He purchased, with the laying down of His life, the rescue that all men are in need of. I’m learning to remind myself often that no one comes to the Father unless He leads them. It is not my position to be the redeemer, I’m just to lead them to Him. Today, look for those who God alone can redeem and deliver and ask Him who He is drawing.

SUMMARY
God is ruler over the nations; He inhabits His holy and sacred seat of honor, authority and power.
MEDITATION
The God of all Creation has no identity crisis. He is in absolute control and He knows it. While many don’t like to see God in such a manner, due to their carnal approach to Him, I say I’d have it no other way. Who should be in control? Who should rule and reign? You and I? I think not. Today, take the time to acknowledge that God reigns from His holy sanctuary and nothing that ever was, is and ever will be must pass through Him first.
