“Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men!” (NASB)
STRONGS HEBREW/GREEK ORIGINS
“Let them give thanks (yadah: praise, laud, make confession) to the LORD for His lovingkindness (checed: mercy, kindness, goodness, favor), and for His wonders (pala': wondrous and marvelous works; extraordinary; to show oneself wonderful or marvelous) to the sons of men ('adam: mankind)!”
SUMMARY
Let them praise and confess their thanks to the LORD for His mercy, kindness and favor, and for His wondrous and marvelous works to all of mankind.
MEDITATION
Praise be to God for He does not bestow upon us what we deserve! He is merciful, kind and good, in spite of mankind’s denial of Him. Even when we, His children, choose our own ways at times, He is patient and full of lovingkindness. Were it not so, not one man would have the opportunity to know Him intimately. So today, rejoice with me over His unending love and the marvelous works that He performs on our behalf.
