1 Corinthians 4:1

“Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.” (NASB)

“Let a man regard (logizomai: reckoned, counted, to number among, reckon with, deem) us in this manner, as servants (huperetes: minister, attendant) of Christ and stewards (oikonomos: governor, manager, superintendent, overseer) of the mysteries (musterion: hidden things, secrets, not obvious to the understanding) of God.”

Let a man see us in this manner, as ministers and servants of Christ and overseers of the hidden secrets of God.

You do realize that if you are a biblically defined, born from above Believer in Jesus Christ, you are a steward of the mysteries of God Himself, right? I ask you today, what are you doing with His mysteries? Are you studying His Word and uncovering His hidden truths? Are you moment by moment walking in intimacy with Him, learning more and more of His innumerable facets? He chooses to reveal His mysteries to His children, if they will seek them out. It is time to fulfill our role and dig deep into all that He is! Today, may we, His representatives be deemed as ministers of Christ and good stewards of God’s great mysteries!
