"But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh." (NASB)
STRONGS HEBREW/GREEK ORIGINS
"But I say, walk (peripateo: go, walk about, be occupied) by the Spirit, and you will not carry out (teleo: finish, fulfill, accomplish, pay, perform, execute, complete) the desire (epithumia: lust, craving, longing - for what is forbidden) of the flesh (sarx: carnally minded, the body; natural or physical origin)."
SUMMARY
I say to you, go forth and be occupied by the Spirit and you will not fulfill the longings and cravings of your natural man.
MEDITATION
What in the world would professing Believers look like if we were completely occupied with the Spirit? Oh to leave behind the ways of the flesh and only pursue Spirit matters! Today, make that your goal. Submit every thought and action to the Lord and only allow Spirit acts to prevail.

this is from my favorite chapter of the bible. here it describes how the holy spirit is what really makes life change.
It is so wonderful, God's grace, we are not bound to the law, but him knowing that the law being a good path gives us the holy spirit to guide us.
Praise Him!
